Beautiful, a little more air around the light on the floor would have created more impact and a bit of drama. Even if it didn't exist in real life you could have created additional black space by extending the canvas in PS. Seems a little contained and restricted as it stands.
Chris Macnamara: Good point. Didn't know I could do that in PS. Will investigate. Thanks Simon.
Just in case you aren't sure - Increase your canvas size, then use layers; add a fill layer, fill it with black, discard the mask that comes with the layer - then add a new reveal all mask. Finally tou a large white paintbrush to remove the areas of mask that allow your image to show thro' Any mistakes can be corrected with a black brush. Flatten and Bob's your uncle. If you already know - then ignore all the above and let me say how much I like the distorted light on the floor - thick glass makes for great shadows. Mike
Chris Macnamara: Had a try with the canvas stretching thing, and it was easy, wasn't it. I have now tried using that to create borders too. Is that the right way to do that? Thanks for the comment about the picture too!
