Liddington Original

This was the original shot from yesterday, before editing. Oddly, not the glorious blue sky I remember. Maybe that's why I edited it so heavily??

This week, I will hopefully be showing some pictures taken using my new toy which I got yesterday (Saturday) Sigma 10-20mm ultra wide angle lens.

Beautiful, really like the ominous sky and golden tones...saw a very similar view two days ago from the A421...actually it might be the same.
Chris Macnamara: The A421? That must be close, but I can't think where that would pass by? Thanks for the comment though!

Works very nicely for me Chris. I know that if I had taken the shot, I would have had a polarisor on the cam, not sure if you did. Many regards, Neil.
Chris Macnamara: No pol Neil. Not a great shot without the PP work, but you can't win 'em all!

Hi Chris, They both work. The B & w is very effective but I like the golden colour of this one. Regards Gale
Chris Macnamara: Cheers Gale. The colour one for me is just missing a bit of drama.
Although I normally like grey skies with golden fields, somehow this looks wrong to me - can't put my finger on it. Definitely prefer the b/w version you did the other day.
Ingrid
Chris Macnamara: I agree Ingrid. It's not great, is it? But never say never, and just process the s*#t out of it! wink
Wow, this is powerful stuff. Are those colours natural or tweaked? The sky looks so broody.
Chris Macnamara: This one is straight off the camera. The day befores had a wee bit of work wink
Seeing the two photos of Liddintong, I remain with first in B&N. It transmits more sensations to me than second. Yes sólamente it had seen this one, already had seemed me a fantastic photo! smile
Chris Macnamara: Prefiero primer también. ¿Pero el segundo no tenía ningún corregir así que puede parecer mejor con un cierto trabajo?
