Good idea and nicely worked light!
Chris Macnamara: Thanks Martin. It was all I could do to stop my own shadow getting in the shot!

I like the shot but would prefer it a tad brighter
Chris Macnamara: Cheers Stan. You could be right, however if you look at the length of the shadow you can see it wasn't that bright to start with, and I kinda like the deep shadows.

This is lovely, and very much in your 'style'. I like the dark shadow as it leads the eye to the building in the background. It has the feel of a cold English seaside day out.
Chris Macnamara: Exactly as it felt Lillith. It was too windy, and freezing too.
The color in this is so rich. The sky is wonderful.
Brilliant.. love the contrast of strong colour and textures of the stones. Great angle.Love the dramatic clouds.. no wonder the chairs are packed up.

Beautiful rich colours in the fading light - it's definitely not too dark. The clouds are spectacular and I like that little contrast in the water - the deep blue of the shallows and the cold grey of the open sea.

I like. I wonder whether a little fill in flash would have brought a bit of interest and detail to the end of the deckchair stack...it's a bit too much of a black hole.

Lovely composition and tones.

Isn't this light just the business at the moment, well seen and captured.
WOW! Chris. For my this is a "Likey". The light is great!
