Worthing Beach

Not sure why the sky is so noisy at only 400 ISO, any ideas? My crappy processing?

Check out www.neatimage.com. That should fix the problem. I get noise like this if I have to brighten the sky drastically or if I let PS auto adjust images shot in raw. Not sure any of this helps. Nice shot, btw!
What great light!
Re. noise: try selecting the blue channel & adding some gaussian blur. Usually works for me!

I can see what you're referring to, but I think it helps this image, not hinders it. The grainy sky goes well with the grainy beach, and so it works well in my eyes. Good shot.

I like this shot, the mixture of sky and stoney beach with sun coming from the west gives lots of atmosphere.smile
