photoblog image Dancing Queen

Dancing Queen

The 4th, and final shot in this series.

I really hope that you have liked looking at them as much as I have taking them.

Next task is to get a real person to pose like this for me.

Amendment: I won't be shooting any more like this for a while as it has been a wee bit easy to get loads more hits. That said, I think that Saturdays shot, Aphrodite was one of my best so far.

Thanks for all the visits.

Another fantastic perspective, Chris, against a fabulous sky. I bet this would have also done well in a portrait view, to fill up the whole page!!!
Chris Macnamara: Thanks Ginnie. I may go back and shoot her again...as long as she hasn't been sold, and try what you suggest.
Another beautiful shot. What a shame to stop. Why is it wrong to get more hits? If you show good images, isnt it right that everyone can show their appreciation? If you are alluding to the female body drawing more attention, whats wrong with that either?
Chris Macnamara: Well Lilith, I've run out of ways to make these any more interesting. And although I do think the pictures were pretty good (not really much of a self promoter, but maybe I should be), if ANY picture of a naked woman gets posted here, it gets loads of hits. That could be for artistic reasons, or maybe we are all just a bunch of voyeurs. Probably a bit of both. So I need another challenge to get better at my for now, hobby. And thank you very much for your favourable comments.
The compo is spot on. And that sky... it's the perfect background. The statue's simply beautiful, especially the way her face is hidden. Excellent shot, Chris.
Chris Macnamara: Thanks Morenike. I liked the big sky behind her, like I liked the big sky above her on Saturday. She is drop dead gorgeous, isn't she?

I really have been enjoying this series, really really well shot and presented smile Very well done.

Suby
Chris Macnamara: Thank you Suby. I've admired your stuff for ages, so that comes as quite a compliment. Maybe I should take Liliths advice (above) and continue?

It looked quite saucy from the thumb nail Chris but I do like the image and framing against the neutral blue sky. mal
Chris Macnamara: Cheers Mal. I am pretty pleased with these.

That's just lovely!

Two ideas though, a teeny little bit more space between the top of her fingers and the edge of the picture might make a bit of difference. I also wonder how it would look with the statue to the left of the frame, rather than to the right?
Chris Macnamara: Good points Ellie. I did accidentally clip her fingers, and was a wee bit annoyed about that. Also, the left to me seemed the obvious side of the frame, wso decided against it. But I may go back to try again.
I see her as a nightclub acid house kind of dancer, lost in some Prodigy or Timo Maas or something like that.
